Get ready to start the festival with a bang at our Free Kickoff Concert, featuring Easy Honey and Wim Tapley, two east coast bands that you won’t want to miss! Enjoy an evening of great vibes, catchy tunes, and good times—all absolutely free. Join us on Friday, October 17th.

Broad St. Concert Band Opening Ceremony

 Kick off the festival with the exhilarating sounds of the concert band, setting the stage for a day filled with musical delight and community spirit!

Color Run 5k

The Color Run is a joyful, family-friendly 5K where every mile brings a splash of color and a whole lot of smiles! Walk, jog, or run at your own pace as you make your way through clouds of vibrant powder and energetic music zones that keep the good vibes going.

Race registration can be found at this link. All participants will receive a free Sugar Rush t-shirt with their registration. 

Check-in begins at 7am at Veterans Memorial. Race begins promptly at 8am.

Get ready for a wild adventure as the Wildlife Wonders Animal Show brings the animal kingdom to life—right before your eyes! From curious critters to majestic mammals, you’ll meet a fascinating lineup of animal ambassadors, each with their own story and surprises.

Fit 2 Fly Silks Show

Prepare to be amazed as the talented aerial artists of Fit2Fly take to the skies in a stunning silks performance that blends strength, grace, and gravity-defying beauty. Watch as performers twist, spin, and soar high above the stage, weaving stories through movement and fabric in a breathtaking display of athleticism and artistry.

We’re serving up a handpicked rotation of the best local breweries, pouring everything from bold IPAs to smooth stouts and crisp lagers — all crafted right here in our community. Join us on Saturday, October 18th from 11am-4pm by Indio Brewing. 

Tickets are $30, and it includes a souvenir glass and unlimited samples!

Peachstate Cornhole Tournament

Grab a partner and bring your A-game to the Peachstate Cornhole Tournament, where friendly competition meets laid-back fun! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just here for the good vibes, this bracket-style showdown is your chance to aim, toss, and score your way to victory.

Teams will compete in a classic double-elimination format, with prizes for the top finishers and bragging rights on the line!

Lanier High School Marching Band Parade

Join us on Sunday at 12pm for our Lanier High School Marching band parade! 

Scoops Ice Cream Eating Competition

Think you’ve got what it takes to conquer the cold? Join us for the Ice Cream Eating Competition, where speed meets sweet in a race to the bottom of the bowl! Whether you’re a fearless foodie or just here for the fun, this frosty face-off is guaranteed to bring big laughs, sticky smiles, and maybe a brain freeze or two.

Age Groups: (8-12) (13-17) (18 +)

Mascot Dance Competition

Get ready to cheer, laugh, and groove at the Mascot Dance Competition, where your favorite local mascots show off their best dance moves! This free, family-friendly event is packed with energy, silliness, and plenty of mascot magic.

Begins at 12:30pm on Sunday, October 19th.

Located on our Main Street by the Eagle Theatre.

A Tale of (Almost) Heroes

Takes of heroic acts, epic nettles, bravery, and adventure told by self-proclaimed adventures, though they may be a little fuzzy on the details.

Juried Art Show

Step into the vibrant world of local creativity at the Sugar Hill Art Gallery during Sugar Rush! Explore a stunning collection of artwork crafted in a variety of mediums—oils, acrylics, photography, mixed media, clay, and more. This dynamic exhibition runs from October 9 through November 28, celebrating the rich talent and imagination of our local artists.
